A wanderer arrives to a foreign land to establish a new life for himself but has discovered that the population of entire villages have gone missing with no trace; during his investigation, he stumbles upon a metal of eldritch origin.
A princess wishes to prove her resolve towards her kingdom regarding an impending threat but goes missing; following her mysterious return, she is an amnesiac who has lost conventional sight.
A heretic who unearths enlightenment from an otherworldly entity, gifting him a renewed purpose; fueling him is the promise of ascending as a higher being by building the gate.
Angels who visit this realm and bestow upon them gifts to augment life in several ways; one boon being trees that burgeon fruits which emit light for all and strength for some.
On a continent where a growing doom looms over the fabric of the universe, tragedy will prove a blessing that may provide hope to prevent the accident of a life from engulfing all.
